Testament to the Wind

Original Acrylic Painting on archival board. The winds of time gently or fiercely push against the forgiving trees that bend to the winds wishes. These trees eventually continue to grow in a slanted fashion away from the prevailing winds. For many years this group of trees have asked me to paint them though now some have succumbed to the rigors of the wind. This painting was completed with the help of my photos of many a year ago, taken on the Severn River, my beloved summer cottage home.
